Hawaii Fido is dedicated to providing quality trained assistance dogs to the disabled community of Hawaii. We offer educational opportunity to the business community on public access and the rights of service dog teams.
At Hawaii Fido we incorporate a unique program using at risk youth in puppy training and socialization. Hawaii Fido's S.T.A.R (student teaching animal responsibility) takes student volunteers to the local schools to teach awareness and to educate the public about the roles and rights of service dogs. Our "Read to Willie Program" is the first and only reading program in Hawaii where reluctant young readers are motivated to read to certified therapy dogs.
