Be a Puppy Raiser!
It takes…
A village!
Raising service dog puppies can be intensely fulfilling and fun, bringing all members of the family together to work toward a common goal. Our puppy raisers rotate between puppies every few months to socialize them to different homes.
You don’t need previous dog training experience to be a puppy raiser. It is helpful if you have a dog, or had one in the past.
A 24/7 commitment.
Of approximately one-year.
A fenced-in yard.
Weekly contact with us for Covid-safe training classes.
Daily training (we teach you how to fit this into your schedule).
Grooming, exercising, socializing (2-3 times/week), and caring for the puppy.
Monthly Fi-Do community outings with the puppy.
